HDS300 12 box...whos?

so should i just buy an attend box from sounqubed for the sub or should i build my own? if i build my own id actually prefer to use an aeroport (less work for me, means less things i can mess up)

for the price of an atrend box, you can have one local custom made by @CSCStang ;

Attend boxes are way to small and tuned high, make a box 2-2.25 cubes net tuned 28-32Hz. You will be much much happier

My HDS300 liked to be tunned lower then my obsidian, didnt sound so good at 32Hz. Dropped it down to 28Hz and the tone sounds much more on point. Thats just my .02 from my setup, but i have a single cab and the port is inches from my head. My box is 2.25 before sub displacement

All kinds, i never tune a box over 32. Higher tuned boxes tend to be peaky in my opinion, meaning 40-55Hz or so is loud anything lower sounds terrible. I want my box to have good tone 28-60Hz, thats what ive gotten from boxes at this tune. Usually im listening to all kinds of rock(classic, alternative, metal), rap, drum and bass, & terrible music on the radio. Sub sounds fantastic to all of it, but 28-40 or 45 or so gets down then slowly calms as it gets closer to mid bass tones.

If it was me ide go 28, but 30 should be fine. Its on 2 3in aero ports

bro CSCstang is going to hook it up man.

i just got a custom box built by him for two 312's. in the end i got a 3.8cu ft box shared space tuned to 30hz. let me tell you this thing hits high low and ***** the earwax out of your face holes.

this guy hooked it up with paint to match my car too but i wouldnt reccomend unless u fasten the box cuz it will sliiiiide everywhere.

seriously tho that guy is the **** he just finished my box the other day after only maybe a week notice. he is also gonna hookup my big 3 cuz i'm a noob.

What's the downside to having a box that's a little too small? Will the lows not be there or the highs?
