Hds2-12s with a Soundstream ta1.3k

OK SQ guys how well would a pair of Hds2-12s hold up to my Soundstream Ta1.3k, I would get dual 2s and wire to .5 ohm like I am currently.

Just curious, my goal is spl over daily but not make it a complete burp box. I'll handle the box design so don't need help there. I will probably make box a little smaller then normal to help handle the power (I know it doesn't increase RMS). I mean after rise I think they would see about 1k each depending. I would oscope amp also...

I will say I seen a guy in a Vid with a pair on a skar 3500 and i know its a stronger amp

build the box to spec or maybe even larger, they can handle every last bit of that amp easily.

the hds2 line? will take the amps full potential? i love sq and i know the hds3s would be fine on my amp, but didnt think these would. SA 12s are simlar and will handle my amp i know.

pretty good looking sub for the price.. im confused though, why is the excursion so low? are those conservative real numbers or something? seems like a lot of brands do seem to inflate their numbers

oh lol, spacing man, spacing... it looks like 1.3k on the title. I was like... its only overpowered by 100 watts... just realized its the 3k Yeah you can go a bit smaller.

see im not familiar with the hds lines. i miss the older sdc2.5 line, they were better built, better parts and bigger motor.

But anyway, im skeptical of the hds2 though. I dont know much about them, and didnt know if they would hold up to my ss 3k

no comp just a subwoofer stress test lol... You could tell the sub was pissed though lol... idk i may just keep my HD15. it seems to take my amp like a champ so far

Yeah keep that for sure. Hds200 would be a downgrade.

Really? i figured seeing the extra cone area it would be kinda a upgrade. Given i know the HD has a stronger motor.

I would really like to get ahold of a HDC4 15, but its alittle rich for my blood lol...
