HDC315, and RF P3 10 build started!!!

Ok so we are almost done with the RF P3 10's enclosure, just waiting on the sub to get it. Here it is, im pretty sure the box is 1.8 cubes tuned to 40 hz.





We got the RF sealed up mostly and then started on my build for the HDC3, we only have one pic of the cut but ill keep yall updated tomorrow I should get more **** done.



Thats it for now let me know what you guys think.

Oh and the HDC315 will be 4.5 cu ft tuned to 36 hz.

Well I figure since I listen to so much rap it would be smarter to tune lower?

38-40 would still hit all the lows, especially in a box that size. AQ recommends higher tuning for their subs...

So by making the PVC a little shorter would make tuning higher correct? Im using 2 12" PVC pipes as my ports.

Also I have another question, would it matter if I had the PVC fully outside of the box it may not look good but the box will have more net volume.

you can make your ports external, you just wont have any port displacement in the box.

making the ports shorter will raise the tuning

Cool thats what I figured. Less port displacement in the box is a better thing imo.

All I have left is putting the ports in, painting the box and getting it to fit. This is really my first attempt at making a box ever so criticism needed.
