HDc3 12 Box recommendations?

As the title says what would be a good size for a daily setup with the aluminum coils? Would 2.0 cubic feet [after sub and port displacement] be ok? Tuning would be 36 to 38 depends. Just curious.

Not sure running a few ideas through my head. More than likely a Sundown

1500d at .5 ohms. so 2000w to 2200w I suppose.

2.0 works well for me, I could run (4) of them and have the proper space.

i have mine in 2.75 a piece and its a little too large.. making the response a little too peaky imo. 2 would probably be good for a trunk car.

Although from what i'm seeing from them i'd consider a touch more power. I'm running about 4.5kw to the pair and its enough to get them to bottom out @ tuning frequency..(well, **** close as i didn't actually let them bottom) so anyway 4kw is way more than enough. If you can swing say a kx/zx2500 or something that would probably work well.

Although i know how expensive it gets when you start stepping above the 2kw range.. adding batt's and alts and all that.

I would love to do a pair of Orion 2500ds, but im iffy about buying them used. I have had (4) Orion amps and never had one problem out of any of them, (3 used) but didnt want to push my luck.

I really like Sundown, but im thinking the AQ 2200 would be a better match per sub. I had planned on doing a pair of 15s in 8 cubic feet, but consider (4) 12s in that space as well.

Its looking like the 15s would be the better choice at the moment.
