bro just got 2 hcca 12s and he says he is comin for me. i got 2 12 l7s on a jl 1000/1. if he gets correct power would the orions be capable of being louder?

The hcca's will handle more power, but you have more cone area, depends on the enclosures and how much power you guys put to them

Ive had L7s.. Then I realized they Sucked.

Im going with the HCCAs if they are powered right.

12 re xxx, 15 rf t1s, rf hx2 12s, cheapo pioneer 12s, massive cw 12s and thats all i can member right now.

the hcca's will get louder period....tho the hcca's were first rec for sealed applications they can get very loud given the right box and can take more power and dont take much to get them moving. also ur amp *****

they are inefficient as hell but if he gets a solid 4kw he will eat you alive..

take those garbage *** L7s out i heard a instant improvement from l7 to AA chaos in the same box "had 2 one square cut out and other round" hcca>l7 hands down and there shouldnt even be a cone area comparison because l7s are such *** subs plastic is not a good cone material mkay.
