having problems wiring system..

i have my subs wired in parallel...- to - to amp - , + to + to amp +. For a total of 2 ohm load.

ok i finally got the amp to power on..i regrounded it somewhere else. Everything turns on now but the sub barely bumps..

check your hu settings theres alot of features on that. Make sure you got your subwoofer tunrned up on it

i need help i hooked up my system and blew 3 amps the only thing i blew on the amp is the sound powers up but no sound ive hooked up many systems but on the day i try something new like put a bass cap in i blew the amps can someone please help

and another question this is my system 2 15" lightning audio s3 vc2 subs,directed 1100d amp mono, lightning 4 channel amp 300rms and a 3 farad bass cap do i need the cap or just basicly how should i set this up and i might be hooking up the bass cap wroung please help this is my first big prob ever will i need another bat help someone

I have never used a cap, because i personaly dont think there worth it, better to just buy another battery. But I believe you just take your pos and neg wires run them to the cap, then run them from the cap to your amp or distro block. I dont know if it will fry your amp, but it is electrical so i believe it could possibly do that because you never know with electric. I would run a inline fuse between the cap and the amp.

thanks but if i just forget about the cap and get another battery will i need a new alternator for my 1996 intrepid or i will be fine with the one i got and how should i hook the second battery up

run it just like the cap etc, the ground and power wire to the bat first then to the amp.

I dont know about the alt

is ur amp 2 ohm stable. kuz my boys jl 500/1 was beeping at us kuz we wired the subs down too 1ohm and that amp is stable too 1.5.

2 Batterys... Whats your alt amp at now? Try a big 3.

I have a 135amp alt. I run sunroof, heated seats, 2 amps (sig), hotshot (60amp) a 6disc changer all this crap.

Sure some of it doesnt run full time, but I have no voltage drops.

Doubt you'll need 2 batteries.

If you actually listen to what they're telling you to do you won't even need a second battery.
