Having a hard time deciding on a headunit

Going to be running Hertz comps and a Phoenix gold rdsc 12" sub, but just can't decide on a headunit for my civic.

I want one with a usb input, as I don't plan to own an ipod anytime soon, plus I am looking for more sound quality.

I was thinking of the Eclipse 5030 when it comes out, and even some Alpine models, but not sure really what to look for. I used to have Pioneer Premier back in the day, but not really digging the look of their displays.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

By the way, looking for a new headunit, not used!!!!

those are nice basic units. good sq and decent features.

I just sold my Pioneer DEH-P5100UB. It had 2 USB on it and worked great. Got it for around $160 on amazon.com while everyone else was backordered. I loved it and never had a problem with it. The only reason I got rid of it, was to make way for my Pioneer AVH-3100 DVD unit.

I think I have it narrowed down to the kenwood 693 or 993 and the eclipse 5030(finally available, but still looking). Im liking the color schemes on the kenwood, as it would match my dash better than the eclipse(my civic has red guages).

Such a tough decision!!!

No offense but aren't you looking for Sound Quality.?? Don't get me wrong the 2 you had it narrowed down to are capable units but I also think you're placing too much stock in looks and "color schemes". I always go by the simple rule. Oh I understand, but I would like something that looks more flush if possible with my dash. Still open to suggestions as I am not rushing this.

Im waiting on a review from a couple people over at diymobileauido that have it. Really leaning towards the eclipse at this point!!!
