Have a tuff decision HELP

I have an Orion 2500 and I want more power( runnin it at .5 ohm). A local pawn shop has a MA HK4000d brand new in box for like 350 bucks. I am just wonderin if the power that is made by the Ma will have a noticable difference. The orion makes like 2800 at .5 ohm,and the ma makes 3600 @2ohms on 14.4 volts.I will be runnin this on my newset up when it comes in 2 15" hd3s. Thanks for an help

Are you kidding me? The MA will stomp a mud hole in the Orion 2500d.

I almost lost a audio competition today because my Visonik 4000xd was on the fritz and I had to use a Orion 2500d......I usually get 153ish on the termlab and today I only got a 149.7 .....and thats a direct drop in.......so that should tell you alot.

The trade off is, the Orion can do drive by in MECA better than the HK4000 board....but if your doing just burps then who cares.
