I have a hifonics bx1000d brutus series amp for my Alpine 12" type-r. Any suggestions for crossover settings would be helpful. There is 1 set of rca inputs but they are not color coded red and white (they are both black)?? Confused on all of the adjustment settings also.--Thanks for any help on these settings.

The RCA's don't matter on this PARTICULAR amp because its mono. If it were 2 ch or more, to keep stereo correct youd wanna make sure you had the Left in the LEFT and the Right in the RIGHT.

Hooked up the bx1000d and bass is not hitting as hard as I thought it would. My settings on the amp are : Lowpass around 90 ; Subsonic at 0 ; Bass Boost at 0 ; Phase at 0 ; Gain(Voltage) around 4 volts(little over halfway) . Any ideas on settings that would make the bass hit harder and tighter?? This is in my '97 Grand Cherokee , the sub is in a small sealed box sitting over the right wheelwell facing the other wheelwell(side firing). Any suggestions on settings or sub placement that would make the sub hit harder and tighter???
