has anyone ever built a dual-horn enclosure? i'll fully explain in a second
most rear loaded horn enclosures i see built for car audio are the same fashion used by home audio drivers, where the face of the speaker is open air
but for use with a subwoofer, since your only desired bandwidth is the one being amplified by the horn, could you theoretically build and enclosure that had both the front and rear side of the speaker loaded into horns?
Basically an 8th order bandpass, but rather than traditional slot or aero ports, it uses horns..............
i realize it would have an INCREDIBLY small bandwidth... but i would imagine it could get insanely loud with one driver for comps
has anyone ever done it?
