I’m still trying to solve the nightmare of keeping my factory HU/not having preouts...

This device looks very promising (I️ saw some guys from Five Star do a very successful install on YouTube)

It integrates plug and play into factory HUs controlled by an amp... it Tharnesses right in and gives you 5 volt preouts...

I️ was just about to splice RCAs onto a preamp signal and HOPE that the signal was good...

This thing sums your signal and gives a flat unequalized signal...

Can anyone help me justify dishes out another $300 on this, or can I️ likely get a good enough signal just splicing into a preamp rear speaker signal?

I use these and they work great. I splice them right before the LOC. One leg on the negative the other on the positive.
