Did you not read what I said? If the waveform is so large that the DSO cant handle it on it's own(High voltage/High Current applications), you'll need an x10 probe. It will have a "1x / 10x" setting, which will put a resistor in-line with the signal, which the DSO will be able to display.
I'd try what maylar said, if you still cant see the waveform due to its size, you'll need an x10 probe. I'm not sure if the DSO v3 comes with one, but my V2 didn't. In which case you'll need to buy/make one like I mentioned earlier.
