Has anyone taken Xanax before?

There's no need to do anything except smoke weed, so much safer, and honestly, find me another drug that can get you feeling great, let you have complete consciousness throughout the entire high and not have to throw up, or be hung over, or have to go through withdrawal afterwards.
at worst, if you have a high indica strain, it will make you sleepy.
Shrooms, salvia, DMT, LSD, mescaline. You get all you get from weed, only instead of just having pure thought, it's pure thought and visual representation.

And Germ-- True. There are even worse topics outside of the dome(soundpressurelistings, anyone?). I just thought you were mad or confused at the reaction of the thread, which could have been solved by Google.

I don't know, a friend told me that a recent study linked LSD with severe brain damage.....I don't have any proof and have no idea if that's true or not though

I've only done it once but it was fun as hell //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I've read recent studies that claim the exact opposite. Then again, I've read other studies that agree with the brain damage assessment. Could you get me a link to said study? I'd be glad to read it and see if it holds any water.

Psychedelics are fun(including weed).

I'm 5'10 and 170. 0.5mg Xanax makes me drowsy, but will definitely chill any anxiety out. I was on and off Xanax (3 weeks at a time) for anxiety and panic attacks, and let me tell you, it WORKS but it's not something to take often. I had a lot of trouble sleeping but it was because of my alcoholism, which I didn't really realize was causing the anxiety and insomnia. Switched to doctor prescribed 1mg Lorazepam for the anxiety and alcohol withdrawal, 1mg a day for 2 weeks, then slowly worked my way down to 0.25mg after about a total of 6 weeks. Had 2mg of Lorazepam the first day and started having mild hallucinations, so wouldn't recommend much of any Benzodiazepene. 1mg of Xanax will knock me out in an hour, should do the same for most anybody who isn't used to taking it, I'd think.

Bottom line... Take them for a bit to chill out your anxiety, but find another way to relax yourself soon. Not worth taking Benzos for long term.

Sorry, I only heard that from word of mouth, no proof...I might look around and see what I can find though because I'm curious. It's hard to find good factual information, most of the websites out there just portray the stereotypes and BS the media feeds them. I like it when I can get my hands on actual case study data, can't get much purer than that...

Exactly. That's why I buy journals and books, rather than read some article from MSNBC.

Most recent studies that have wild claims like the one you're talking about haven't done much, if any, testing on people at all. It's usually administering mass amounts of LSD intravenously in rats daily, for long periods of time. As in, like, ten years.

what's a cheap, mild hallucenagen that won't **** me for life?

I'm really leery about **** like that.

I have been on 1 mg of clonazapam for 4 years.
1mg of clonazapam = 20mg of valium.

Trust me!. If you don't suffer from seizures or severe mussel spasms then you should not be on this drug. In fact... This drug should not exsist except for emergency situations.

Do some in depth reading on benzo withdrawl and then decide if you want to permanently change the gaba receptors in your brain.

Anyone who reads up on this drug and still thinks its a good idea is a fcking idiot and should just off themselves now and save them and others the suffering.

if I knew what I know now then I would of followed a homeopathic program with lots of exercise.

Good luck
i'll just re quote this since idt op got the message
