Has anyone "touched" a Dual XDVDN8290?

Walmart is supposed to carry this, but none of the three walmarts in my area carry it.

I really like this unit but I don't to spend hundreds to test it.

Specifically, I would like to know if the bluetooth feature works worth a nickel and if the SATNAV is fast or slow. I have seen some SAT units that take forever (in driving terms) to redraw or recalculate.

Please share any hands on experience you have with this unit

Generally avoid anything that is sold at wal-mart.

Jensen is only slightly better than Dual. And by slightly better, I mean the packaging is nicer. We have a ridiculous amount of warranty work on Jensens due to out of phase screens, screens going out, touch elements failing, CD players skipping while sitting perfectly still, so on, and so forth.

Stop. Nothing for a car, short wiper blades or fluids, should be purchased at Wal-Mart.

That's good enough for me.

Now I got to decide between the kenwood 8120 or a pioneer Z and upgrade it to a z3 level.

8120, no doubt. Pioneer nav blows dick, especially when compared to the Garmin. Not to mention, the 8120 has 5v pre-outs, and a pretty clean interface. Not sure about the pre-outs on the Pioneer, but I know their interface is kinda messy.

Jensen's screens are made by audiovox last I heard. So they are on par with most others ones. My g/f has had the double din in her car for over a year with no issue.

Ive been contemplating buying one for my car

id stear away seeing i had someone ask today about one that skips or cut out, on turns...? wtf?...lol...
