Has anyone ported their IDQ's?

I recently go a set of IDQ 12s, and am thinking of porting them.

Their specs do suggest that they are truly a ported box driver that works well in smaller sealed enclosures.

IB application is out of the question for the time being, as I'm getting a new car in the next 2 months and don't want to go thru the trouble of that type of installation.

Have about 3/4s of a sheet of MDF in the garage I may do it

Has anyone put their IDQ's in a vented box?

The result of sealed?

I'm also in process of determing which subs to settle on. Most likely will go with couple ID IDQ 15's. I'm thinking of porting them but not many people have tried that. It will certainly drop lower with sealed alignment, but that's the case with any sealed application.

i have my IDQ12 in 1.5cubes tuned to 30hz, but still waiting on my amp to test it out, so cant say much now.

I did however connect the sub to my yamaha receiver and for about 100RMS it got really low and fairly loud.
