I have been wanting them to run my front stage for a while now, but had never personally seen them until yesterday. I knew they were supposed to be small, but holy crap, they're itty-bitty. Alot of reviews I've heard/read says they are great amps, but they are on the expensive side. The 4.100 retails for $500...roughly $1.25 per watt. That's very expensive. Still, you pay for what you get (and I'm sure they can be found cheaper).
As for the caraudio review, there could be different things contributing to his lack of up front bass. Or, it simply could be the amp. Regardless, it's nothing a little eq'ing couldn't fix.
After seeing them in person yesterday I definately will be buying a couple 4.100's or 4.150's to power my front stage. Plus, the class D will be much nicer on my electrical system than what I currently have.
As for your issue, if you have an EQ use it.
Also, you're not comparing the same setup in the same environment, so it's too early to say the lack of low-end is your amplifier. Don't let those reviews get you thinking something until you know it for yourself. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
