Has anyone ever returned a HU to Pioneer?

a set of my RCA outs are blown and I was wondering has anyone ever sent a HU that was under warranty back to Pioneer for repair?

if you go to a local authorized Pioneer/Premier sales center they will probably give you an address of a secondary repair facility... I know up here in the northeast I have to send it to United Radio I think it is, on Long Island.

umm.. i just returned it to the shop.. was painless. if you bought it off line, im not sure..

Actually I got it at the flea market last July. Would they still honor that. I mean the Premier warranty is 2 years and it is an 07 model.

im sure you will need the reciept to make it a possibly warranteed item. i had to dig my reciept up when i sent my 8600 back

I sent mine back for refund but it was purchased from Crutchfield....I'm not sure a flea market is an authorized distributor, so you might have trouble returning it. Good luck if you try!

from a flea market you get no warranty and no recipt

there is a place close to me that fixes Pioneer stuff,mine was under warranty and they fixed it for free

price was like 80 bucks to fix the preout noise....this was 7 years agi

oh 80 was the price shipped back to me also

I took it in on a Saturday it was at my house tuesday night

basically 1 day
