Dude I think you should do it. Just have each sub running off of another amp and set the crossovers and sub-sonic to where each sub only plays a certain frequency. Who knows it might work and sound really good. What kind of car is it?

what the hell is high bass?
Will sound like shit, it will sound like two completely different subs playing, which in this case is no good. If you did enough tuning through trial and error and with lots of processing you could make them compliment each other nicely. But i dont think anyone on here has the knowledge or resoures to do that well.
or just build the box to be ported and wire up an actuator inside to close up the port. then flip a switch and it could be ported or sealed..

I'm sure that someone before you has tried it and it failed. Therefore, nobody uses it today.
dont do it.... a sub does not have to be sealed to sound good. Unless your going to be a super SQ master the just do ported. You wont even know what you missing
