Half ohm

Looking for a amp that will run at half ohm that will power 2 type r 12 in the $500 range was looking at lanzar but not to sure on their quality does anyone have any suggestions

What subs do you have, dual 2 ohm? I highly suggest getting 2 smaller amps and strapping them at 2 ohms for a daily setup. I don't like wiring below 1 ohm unless it's for burps.

Yea dvc 2 ohm I was goin to get the alpine mrx-m240 but don't think I would get everything out of the subs so I was thinking 2 1ohm stable or a half ohm

Unless u think I'll be good with the alpine I like the amp just think I could get more out of the subs if they r wired parallel instead of series

IMO, half ohm nominal is fine since rise will kick it up a bit. But to be safe, 2 smaller amps (not necessarily strapped) would be better.
