Look into RE MT or kicker solo-x, or if u cant provide enough power to those then check kicker l7's or 2 15SX's. XXX's get crazy loud but they also have awesome SQ, but again theymove mad air, dont kno if u will ever accomplish ur hair trick goal but just check these setups out and u should be able to move some pretty good air.

George thats tight and weird cuz thats what i'm thinkin bout gettin 2 15 SX in a ported or sealed (if i dont have the space) for my truck come summer... so im guessin that it gives off alot of bass huh...and could the box be turned lower.......would an MTX 18000D work...

kballa442 yea i think i'll now just be happy with moven a Tee shirt LMAO cuz I really dont think i'll be doin any hair tricks unless the stick there hair out of the window while i drive.....hell i thinks thats the best way to do it.....

i got 2 15" sx's runnin off a 2500.1 in 7 cubes @ 37hz. i got short hair so i dont know if it can pull a hair trick (doubt it) but i have gotten a dudes jersey to flutter to my bass while he had his arm out the window of his truck. i think for a hair trick im gonna need some twins...

I can't do the hair trick, but I have managed to open up a notebook playing the song "Jin - Peel Off". Haven't tried it with others.

How much port area you got?

if i remember right i have 105 square inches.
as for SoLowIt: yea 2 15's move a lot of air but at least in my car its not enough for a hair trick. i can feel it tickle a good bit though. then again i need to get a chick with long *** hair in my car without having to pay her...

BTW dont waste your time on a sealed box. its not gonna cut it IMO. as for the amp any amp that puts out anywhere from 2k to 2.5k watts is good IMO. i run a viper and thats 2500 at 13.8 volts.

What subs? Ported tuned low for sure, adequate port area ofcourse.

I had a pair of old RF 12's in a ported box, in a blazer, with less than 500 watts, and it moved hair pretty well on certain songs/notes. But yeah, nothing like the SPL rigs can do.

One of those MTX amps will not push a pair of SX's properly.
