well xxx's are in no way 80/20 subs. They are meant for sqland they WILL shit on you if you abuse them too much.

well try getting some L7's instead of L5's thats a start right there. And I have had setups that have cost well over 2-3k and I have yet seen hair to move like you want it too. But they were extremely loud for around my area.

yea nightmare im started to think that way now.... i love kicker subs but it's like they can't take a beating or is it that im to hard on them its....yea L7 are so much money and i love 15 so it does cost alot....

it might not be the subs neither, it could be your amp, your enclosure. Also your settins on your h/u deck crossovers? Theres alot of things. I remember a kid I know bought a amp that was a thump 1000x1 at 1ohm I belive and was tring to push his jl subs. Well he couldnt turn the amp up much at all because the subs wouldnt get loud but they would just start distorting, is that your problem.

mine can do a shirt trick. if you have on something like a oversized white tee and lean in the window you can see your shirt flapping. when i had my cornrows i could feel my hair move a bit on hard notes. if you had a wall in your vehicle you should be able to do a hair trick. i've been in vehicles that were pretty loud but not insane spl car loud that you could feel that air move inside enough to probally to do one and they all had the sub set up in the cabin facing foward (a late model monte carlo with 2 w7 13's sealed in the rear seat area with a 1000/1 on each one and 2 excursions with 4 15' jl's w3 or w6's with 4 1000/1s in one excursion and 4 bd1000.l in the other in a big ported wall) did anyone happen to go to slamsession in greenville, nc last april??

i got 2 15" sx's runnin off a 2500.1 in 7 cubes @ 37hz. i got short hair so i dont know if it can pull a hair trick (doubt it) but i have gotten a dudes jersey to flutter to my bass while he had his arm out the window of his truck. i think for a hair trick im gonna need some twins...
