ok so..... i have the peices for my box thats 4 cubic feet. right now i can still change up the port to tune it, as its not built yet. i need help choosing a sub for the price...... well. i wanted a FI BL 15, but they are out of stock plus cost more then i would like to spend, then i wanted a audioque HDC3 15" but they cost alot for aluminum, and the mounting depth is very close, i would have to double baffle it with 3/4" mdf, and i would still have less then half an inch for the pole vent... Ive also wanted an RE SX 15" which i would have 3/4" for the pole vent with out double baffle id probably put 1/2" MDF for the double baffle... (height is limited) uhhh. so im probably gonna go with the SX.... how would you compare it to the other 2 subs listed?

and i would most likley buy the sub off of ebay for around $237

and hifonics bxi1608d off ebay also. running 1 ohm at 1600watts

my box demensions are 25.5" x 38" x 9.25"

can anyone tell me what the length of the port wall should be? the L shape...

and that print is tuned to 27.9, where the sx is rated 27.8..... close enough right?

OR go with a tripple baffle around the sub if you have the wood to get mroe clearance - you want at least as much clearance as the pole vent is across.

4 cubic feet - look into AQ 2.5SD woofers 15"

Or a SSD from Fi

dont know the pole vent size, dont think the site says... and id like the RE sx.... as i like it alot and it does have a mounting depth that i could fit. i dont think i have room for a tripple baffle, because my box dimensions are made to just fit in my trunk. the full width, the height can only fit around 9-10" because its like a trapezoid near the top so i cant fit the box up there if that makes any sence? for the SX with the 1/2" baffle itd be around 1 and 1/4" clearance for the pole vent. not sure what a regular pole vent size is...

any help on the box vent dimensions??? i dont know how long to make the vent"wall" part. or what to tune to.

wow i feel dumb... the recomended tuning for the 15 SX in 4.0 cubic feet is 34 hz so yeah... guess that box plan i made wont work....
