h/u not working right?

I bought a new jvc kd-s100 h/u from crutchfield... Some FVCKIN hillbillies must of rewired the radio in the stang because the wiring is all fcked up! But im pretty sure i have everything hooked up right. When i cut the car on the knob lights up for a minute but it doesnt show anything on the screen. Then the light on the knob turns off and it wont turn back on?

suggestions?
