H/U better than Alpine CDA-9887 performance?

Mine, dont need any software to run a 3 way active setup, comes with everything, ****en mint, as well as 2 year square trade warranty, on top of factory 2 year. alos have ipod adapter, holla.

Want something simpler lol

Going to be buying the unit brand new with warranty hopefully.

Trying to stick to:

Single Din

Preferably Pioneer or Alpine

I had the prs 880 a few years back. It has the most tuning features and so forth, but i just don't like the sound quality of pioneer. There highs are warm and dull where as alpine highs are crisp and airy. Alpine has the best sound quality period. But the pioneer gives you a better EQ and crossovers and so forth. I would rank kenwood a close second behind alpine. Kenwood excelon products are great. But I ran a alpine pdx and the new kenwood xr-1s on my subs and alpine is cleaner and has better sound quality. Not to say the kenwood is not good. It just don't top the alpine in sound quality. But the kenwood would be my second choice for a digital amp. Specially for the money.

9512 lol If you're in that realm of woofers, there's quite a good selection outside of those 2, but DD is a very good pick IMO.

2.5 cubic feet per subwoofer not total. Those X's require some room.
