I can break these cuffs
Ok, I am thinking of getting an H/O alternator for my car for Christmas. I was wondering what brand would be a good one to go with around $300 or so. I am looking for 200 Amps for my 2001 GMC Jimmy 4 door with the 4.3L Vortec V6. I know I can get one from KnuKonceptz, EA and I believe MeanGreen has one. I am looking for a recommendation on a reliable one that would have good CS if I were to have a problem.

Yea, I have seen this one on their site, http://www.mean-green.com/products/200amp.html and have been wondering how much it costs and if it would be adequate.
thats not the right one

they are $369 plus ship. they are 200A units but i believe that is a hot rating (meaning after its warmed up) as most have beneched around 220A cold.

i have one, its very reliable.

edit: i believe this is the exact model http://www.mean-green.com/store/proddetail.cfm?CFID=490083&CFTOKEN=23695720&ItemID=363&CategoryID=3
