How do you guys feel about gun control, not as much hunting rifles, but semi-automatic handguns and full-auto assault rifles? I'm conservative and I thought I was for all these, but then I watched Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine and it changed my opinion a lot. There really is no need for people to have these guns and it only leads to more crime and death which was the main point of that documentary if you haven't seen it. The media really pumps fear into the people and I think it will only get worse.

Because when a CRIMINAL gets a hold of a weapon I want to have my "semi-automatic handguns and full-auto assault rifles" handy to blow the fuckers head off

The majority of crimes involving firearms are not legally purchased registered weapons.

I buy guns to protect my self from criminals with guns. And banning the sale of firearms will not STOP CRIME WITH GUNS it will only INCREASE IT.

In the context of the founding of our country, do you think Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, etc., were thinking about duck hunting or crime fighting or the last check of the people against tyrranical government? Though the means to defend one's family, home, person, and property seems like it should be a pretty fundamental right of a free man.

i really don't consider myself a liberal or a conservative but i defiantly think Micheal Moore is a VERY good liar/ trickster...but the founding fathers gave you the right to bear arms...pretty much top of the list...so i don't think its smart to fudge with that....but what do i know..bishes don't know **** about politics.

I'm not saying moore is some hero or anything he just makes some valid points. One man he interviewed said that the murder rate is actually down from the past years, but the coverage of murders in the news is up 600%
