gun control?

we had a little gun control theroy at my buddys house one night. one of our friends went out and bought an airsoft pistol and no one at the house really knew. once he realized we couldnt really defend ourselves he shot the shit out of us.
the next night the rest of us went out and bought them. not a shot was fired at another person that night because everyone knew if they shot someone they would get lit up themselves.

i think everyeone should carry guns in plain sight. what kind of person is going to shoot someone when they know everyone around them is strapped?

so if you bump into someone on the street and he doesn't like the way you looked at him, all he has to do is be able to draw his gun faster then you

If just one of those 30+ people had a gun, then there would have only been 1/3 of those people dead. imo

Just because I have a gun doesn't mean I could shoot it. Even if they were going to harm me, I would feel terrible if I killed someone.

He could have used poison or a IEd but he didnt. He used a two guns. Which are TO EASY to get. I see 15 year old little kids with Mac 10's etc. A Mussel loader in the 1700's is not a AK 47/Ar15 in 2000+!!!!

Rosie has since changed her story, saying that gun control doesnt work, which it doesnt. People would think less about killing someone if they think that they have a gun hidden somewhere on their body. It has already been proven elsewhere that it doesnt work. I really think there would be less kidnapping, robbing, carjackings etc. if the criminals think that they themselves could be shot

so how do you propose then, we go through this country of 300 million, and take away all the guns from the inner cities? how then do you prevent people from having guns without violating the constitution? also the government is trying to rid the country of illegal drugs (or so they say) and have they? no. guns will be just like drugs. lots of people will still have them, they'll just be illegal

I agree with you on gun restrictions being too lenient. But I'm not in favor of restricting them all together.

That is so ridiculous. I think the gun control laws are too strict already. We live in a country with 300 million people, of mixed races and cultures from all over the world. People WILL kill each other. Regardless if the weapon is a 9mm or a butter knife.

I agree with you on gun restrictions being too lenient. But I'm not in favor of restricting them all together.

i just dont know why the liberals in this country are tryin to take the rights away from us we were given in the constitution.

If I was a criminal and had a gun and wanted to reek havoc for whatever reason, I could name of 10 places off the top of my head where there would be absolutely no guns and no one to defend themselves. why do you think there was so many school shootings? because no one in the school can carry a gun, not even the security guards. maybe in some city schools there are actually on-duty cops in the halls. i just dont know why in NY at least, you cannot carry a pistol into some places even if you have a permit. im sure a lot more shootings and crimes could be stopped if people carried.

i am a democrat/liberal. i don't believe this right wing propaganda that the democrats will take away guns.

so now you want to arm high school students? any sane human being has the right to bear arms. the US does not deny competent people to own guns
