GT mustang

any1 has a 99-2001 GT mustang, and whats the biggest size of subwoofers that this car can take. Can it have 2 15" L7?

I have a 2000 V6 mustang. We both have the Sn-95 though. You can fit 2 15's without a rear seat delete if you fire them upwards. Also, here is a link showing how I got a pair of 12's in my mustang. I have seen 2 15's before, but 2 12's was enough work trying to get into such a small trunk.

Mustang with 2 12's

Also, let me know if you have any other questions. I have done countless mustang installs...

It's possible with both firing upwards, but you're in for more work than it's worth. In that small of an area it's a **** waste, in my honest opinion

Three sealed 12's or two ported 10's would be the way to go if you want something to do well without spending ungodly amounts of time and money on the project. Personally I'm going to do a 1200D and two CVX 10's in my trunk, should do just fine. Keep something like that in mind, maybe go with more power and better subs if that fits your needs, but two 15L7's is going to be very very hard and you're probably going to wanna wall it off before you put it in your trunk.

I've got an 04 GT btw

There is a guy on here that had 2 15" Ava's up-firing in the trunk. I think it was 5 cubes sealed.

I had 2 12" R's in 5 cubes at 28hz and there was some cutting involved in order to get it in.

Wj94 had 2 15" AVA firing upwards I believe. I think that is who you were talking about. I knew him awhile back from another forum.

As far as the loudest I have ever gotten in a mustang trunk. I worked on an install with a friend that had 2 12 inch brahma mk2's in ported enclosures. I believe he said he later got it metered in the low 150's. I am sure you can get much louder than that, but personally that is the best I have ever done.

And whoever said you stick it in through the trunk opening - good luck

Slide in through back seat here lol

Myrtle Beach eh? What week is that? If I get my new tires and my shit installed I might just make me a trip down there

I've got a chance to change out and do an all Cadence System instead of Orion but I'm not sure what I'ma do. Give me some more info I might ride down
