>>03 Fx4 Ranger...Revearse Mount DIYMA Box Build<<

****, wish i knew u had a ranger and designed boxes. i wanted the exact same box as i built today, but with the front panel going all the way to the floor to hide the hump in the back of our trucks. maybe i should build another one. could u design it for me?

Awesome sub!
I am a little curious about how long the port it though.
well according to wasted inks design, its 1cf tuned to 29hz which is what ive read is a good ported box for this sub.

looks good, what did u use to seal it? the green stuff?

it's actually a type of liquid nails that i can't find anymore... and i don't remember the name but it came off a job site i was on where they were installing mdf paneling in a commercial kitchen...

when it was fully cured, it was actually stronger than the mdf... i ended up taking off that little port piece and i had to literally break the mdf off because the bond was so strong.

Update!! Today I baught another sheet of MDF, and thanks to Todd (mr1spd) for cutting the wood for me. We rebuilt the box and it came out awesome! Just gotta stop at my buddies shop and have him router out the mounting holes, glue on the front plate, and carpet it, and it will be done. anyways on to the pics!

Agree with hispl. TC sounds soft parts were few and far between years ago. If you’re wanting to run two TC based subs you may be better off...
