grounding second battery in trailblazer

im looking to run a second battery in my trailblazer again. and i was wondering if a 6ft 0 guage run to the frame to the battery is to long? btw, i dont have a ground from the front to the back battery. thanks

Short as possible is always best.I have my CRV rear batt grounded to the rear axel frame..has been just at two years..no issues.Mines approx. 4ft

yea my last set up with a dd m2 and a xs pwer d2700 in the back with the same ground, my drop would be 13.9 to about 13.1 at full tilt for about 10 mins.

so thats why i asked about my ground, i really dont wanna cut a hole, cause as of now, i snaked it behind the taillight to the frame.

It should be fine. That extra couple feet isn't going to make any difference with true 1/0 and a solid connection to the chassis.
