Grounding and connecting ring terminal

Hi,

My first question is do i connect the new ground wire (1/0 awg) to the metal chassis; before i do so , do i sand down the chassis of the car for that area? Do i remove the old ground wire as well?

As for connecting a ring terminal to a wire, how do i go about doing that? Do i use pliers to squeeze the connector onto the wire, or do i use a hammer, solder or what?

i assume that you are doing the big 3? if you are, dont remove the old ground. if not, yea remove the old ground. and yes sand it

ummm as for the connecting the ring terminal, if you dont have a special crimping tool, get a skinny blunt object and a hammer.

Nah, not yet; its cuz the ground wire is i dunno how to say this, deformed? Plus soon im gettin my 1/0 gauge kit for the amps so i mines will upgrade the ground right?

But yeh, i guess ill leave the old ground as well. Um where should i connect the new ground to on the chassis?
