New thread old one got too long. The pics of the cone show the only bad mark on it on the dustcap. All it is, is the paper peeled off a little. There is a spot that looks cracked on there if it shows in the pics but I can assure you it isnt. youve been trying to sell this thing forever....

i know its an awsome sub but TBH i think ppl are scared off by the paper cone n' such

ever thought about cutting off that dustcap and repalcing it with say... a full inverted dustcap like what ascendent audio uses on their newer subs?

they may be scared off by it but it will also mess with all of the specs of the woofer if I change the dustcap. I could have colored the little torn part and never said anything about it. I am however an honest guy and honest seller so I disclosed everything I could about the sub. These things arent for looks they are for sound guys! I have a buddy that got his extra tax check and he said he wanted it so it might be gone soon anyways. Thanks for the insight though man. Bump!

you could probably get a shallow dish cone/dustcap to glue on there that wouldnt affect the T/S too much, i mean, that dustcap that is on there now is HEAVY and it didnt affect anything except the Fs and Vas //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It is a pretty stinkin good price for the nuke.

I'm tempted to get it for the home theater. Those old school GZ's hit LOW!

Back in the day you could sell this sub for $400 in a day no problem.

I really think GZ started the whole big magnet, high moving mass, large surround fad.

I had a GZ hydrogen way back in the day and it hit it EXTREMELY low.

If this doesnt sell soon, I may have to cash advance it on the plastic //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif UNLESS YOU DESTROY IT BY GRAFTING A STUPID PLASTIC BOWL IN THE CONE!!!

Also, I bet those TS parameters arent even accurate anymore. This sub is used, the suspension Q and Vas and Fs are gonna be off cause the suspension is loosened up a bit from regular wear/tear. Adding weight with a larger dustcap or something like that is gonna send the fs & Vas WAY down which will make the box size requirements smaller which could make it sound sloppy if put into a large ported box it could otherwise take

Im not going to do a thing to this sub but let it continue to sit in the same spot it has sat in since Dec 1st when I traded in my old car lol i'll box it up and ship it when someone sends me the cash. I also will not budge on this price either because shipping is killer lately!

I got the sub from Hoss and didnt use it much after. hell like 2-3 months max and i wasnt putting much to it either. he did all the spec measurements so they should be dead on.

Understandable about the price, I would say your offer is more than generous as is.

I'm still broke from recent purchases, but my 15" hometheater box is missing a sub at the moment. Got a 8 CuFt sonotube tuned to 18hz. Ultimate Home theater sub box. Horrible with music, wicked with movies! I may have to do some Overtime this week
