New thread old one got too long. The pics of the cone show the only bad mark on it on the dustcap. All it is, is the paper peeled off a little. There is a spot that looks cracked on there if it shows in the pics but I can assure you it isnt. how much would the recone for one of these be.
why would you want to recone... no one makes the tooling for this anymore, it is a rare piece of history that is NASTY loud and sounds amazing at the same time...

if you were to recone you would not have the same responses... its not super pretty, but ****, its an amazing woofer... for reference, this exact woofer did 144 Db in a trunk car off of about 800 watts.
