lol, there shouldn't be any difference i can think of, except for one might be labeled ground and the other says positive

they are the same thing inside. There is no reason for anything to be different. Chances are they will look different like say "-" or "ground" on the cover but that is likely completely aesthetic purposes.

Sometimes the power distro blocks integrate a fuse holder on one or more of the power outputs. Ground distros generally do not.

nope they don't but you could turn a fused block into a ground block with the right fuse adaptors

Yes, or just short lengths of wire.

That is why ground blocks are usually cheaper.

you should use a fused distro for your positive, and a block with no fuses for the ground

like i said, i could go the easy route and go straight to bat, but it will sure look clean with the ground block.

Fewer connections increases reliability.

fewer connects to battery or the connects between teh battery.
