just bought used amp and it smells burnt somewhat right out of the box.plays strong dosent blow fuses, yet, and hasnt went into protect, but it defenitley smells like it was fried at one time.it also looks to have had some board work done.any body have any opinions on this?and what to expect in the future?been playing it for 1 hour.its an rf p600.1bd

Hmmm.....Well man could just be something that was soldered when the work was done but i imagine the smell would go away. haven't seen any magic smoke yet have u and u said not going into protect just keep your fingers crossed man:D.
