Grand AM gt 01 monsoon problem

Hey i have a 01 grand am gt and its got he monsoon system in it

the system has an external amp

the problem is the other day my radio randomly went out

the radio appears fine i can turn it up and everything there is just no sound...

Did i short out my radio or sumthing i have checked the radio fuses and they are ok

this problem has been goin on for a while and the radio will come back every 2 or 3 weekds and run for about a week then go out again

please help !

have u checked the amp for overheating, my dads got the mosoon in his jetta and the amps in the trunk u might wanna check there

radio might be going out... and the loss of ur door chimes i think u referred to in your other post... well the door chimes are integrated into the radio too so maybe the radio is going out

could be bad speakers too as well tho so just check them 2
