The only thing stopping them from getting the bailout loans is the UAW agreeing to parity wage reductions to compete with wages in Foreign auto plants in the US.how did they shoot themselves in the foot now?
agree'd. come on, do some of those jobs really need to be paid 20+ an hour? a good friend of mine lost his job when the local GE plant went under. he got transfered to one in OH, but not doing what he was here. (witch was QC) he's now cleaning 9 bathrooms on third shift for 29 a hour. WTF is that? you can thank union for that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.giflawl...no job > less money. Wise decision.

thats weird, is transferring to OH common in GM?I have around 5 friends that work for GM, no offence but they are way overpaid making $20 plus all the ot they want. I know how they work and what they do, they transfered to ohio after the plant closed here, they all recieved like $75,000 to transfer!!! Really not bad for actually doing about 2hrs of actual work out of 8hrs and the rest of the time sleeping, playing cards etc... Its too bad for my friends since there great guys. Ive seen alot of the people who have worked at GM here and alot of them were always drugged up. Thats sad but heck they make the big dollas. I think they had it coming for some time now. Im not saying all employees are like that but the ones that I know are.
GE is where my friend went to. i can't remeber if it was the turbine plant or the dishwasher one. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif eather way, 29 a freakin hour. i'll clean shitters for that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It was the closest plant for them to transfer to. Alot of others were on a transfer list to other plants but most went to ohio as far as I know, some I believe went to georgia but not many.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
