Just went out and bought 50 feet of #2 welding wire as I understand that this is equal to 1/0 awg? How does this look?

I don't think they have 1 awg. I bought 50 feet because it cost 70 bucks which is about what I figured knukonceptz or kicker would cost for less. Will this stuff work for about 1800 watts?

its close my welding supply 1/0 is a lil more than 5/8ths

#1 = 1ga

1/0 = 0ga

2/0 = 00ga

Knu lables their 2/0 as 1/0 except the KDL line

if companies would stop *****footing around and just list what guage it is in AWG all this "it's this but it's more like this" shit would end.

BTW, #2 wire is good for ~150a depending on run length.
