true, but for the seller there is always the statement, "well he never asked if it was painted, etc, etc". but who the hell is going to ask 1,000 questions about the sub like that...

there was information withheld from the buyer/tradee that could of been important. what if the sub was damaged MORE during shipping, how is the seller going to say "yeah that damage was from previously, but THAT damage was from shipping" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif all imperfections/damages should be listed before the agreement IMO. If it decreases the value by listing all the damages... O WELL, shouldnt be trying to over-price items over what they are actually worth. If the price is too good to be true, MUST BE!

I was actualy thinkign of getting some of that "hammer finish" paint and repainting it but that would probably be a waste is once in the box... it won't even be seen.

THAT reminds me... The flush mount thing didn't enter my head because i was planning to make the front of the box out of some 3/4" lexan i have laying here... May be do it like planned then have some sort of wooden "second baffle" over it with a ring for the "flush mount look" and some sort of design so that you can still see inside the box... Or may be i shoud sell the 3/4" lexan instead and just do it "plain jane"

average new retail value of the amp is $1100~ I have seen them on ebay for $850~ It was used but in pretty nice shape.

ANYONE HAVE GRILL IDEAS? JUST SOMETHING THAT WILL HIDE THE DAMAGE AND NOT GET COLBBERED BY THE EXCURSION?

A lot of subs have a rubber gasket that go around the edge to hide the screw holes.

A sub with that much excursion is gonna require a custom grill to be made for it.

Yeah, now you see why i was wanting you to post pics of the crate i sent the APX18 in... people need to see how it SHOULD be done. You shouldn't have too hard of a time with the APX18 as long as you have a drill handy...

I fully insure everything I sell/ship. I think it is the sellers/shippers responsibility to do this. Some of these products are very expensive.... and its nice to have a backup just in case something happens.

My morals prove to be if I send you something, and it gets broken during shipping... and I didnt insure it... thats on me, not the buyer. Either a full refund or another of the same product will be given to the buyer. Its only a few more bucks.

Did you trade him that XXX6500D for that XXX???????????
