Sadly, I think that tommy is done with Meca for now. So, it's me and Bud Ballinger running S1 right now, who has an edge on me with a Explorer and 6kW.

how does he run 6kw with like 50amps of fusing? what numbers are he doing? also you think 2 type r 12's could handle a little over 2kw daily on music setup right?

I know his fusing setup and it's still amazing me. The highest he has done is a 150 even. I doubt that they will handle a true 2000w playing a whole song.

here are the rules.

amateur street-car must be off during metering,one battery(can only be 2000 cranking amps or less), no mods to car besides asphalt deadening,must play music from an edited real cd.(much harder than street IMO)

Street- can have 2 batts, play tones with car on. i dont really know what they will allow box wise or car mod wise though.

k i didnt know i dont run street. i still think amateur is harder because your running off just a batt and you have to play music.

it is harder having to use real cd's and you are running off one battery but if you are in street you could be competing against someone with like 4-6 battery's and you only have two!! lol it kinda trys to make it more even in am street

spreay foam and ducttape is your friend

make a beautp panel that goes to the edges, and use self tappers to mount to car if you want

then spray foam that ish.
