Ok i got my HU and my wiring harness for my e36. This is going to sound like a really dumb question to most of your, but how do you connect the wires? eletrical tape? some type of connector? or soldering?......Thanks alot...

you can buy little plastic caps. my entire wiring connection is electrical taped //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. but yeah there are little plastic wire caps that you can get too.. relaly really cheap.

If you tape it, all you have to do is connect the 2 and tape around it, right? there isnt any special technique to use?..also do the little wire caps work better? or are they just easier? and where can they be found, Radio Shack? Best Buy? or do I need to go to a "car audio" store? thanks

If you do tape it twist the two wires together and then use electrical tape. The black stuff to wrap it.

Please don't do that though. Just go to autozone, walmart, radio shack and buy the wire connectors. If you need help ask the employee to point you to the wire connectors for your Head unit.

i try not to use electrical tape---in my experience, its not very reliable and on top of that it gets pretty hot in the car during summer, sometimes causing the tape to become not sticky

Well you sure as heck better not use any other tape cuz it could catch on fire!
