got my new sub, now need help with..

i just got my JL Audio 12w1v2-4.

what amp should i get for it?

i was thinking about this one:

That 1000w means very little. Its really only 500rms. Just keep the gain down to about less than half way and they should be able to handle it.

your sub is a 4 ohm 150 w rms.

that amp spits out 300w rms at 4 ohms... so it should be fine for you as long as you set the gain properly

i would get a two channel amp and bridge it that way if you ever want to upgrade or something you can run that 2 channel amp to your components since your only running 150w to that sub.

look into orion HP series amps, they are awesome and cheap on ikesound.com
