Got my new car

the blazer has a 8 valve setup, what you are feeling is probably alittle body roll. Put a swaybar in and it should solve the problem, Shocks will also help.

Yeah, I was trying to think of the name... it's body roll alright. What I've been doing around turns is lifting up the side a little that's leaning, helping it a little.
I love having this thing! I can go on any site and find parts for it (and aftermarket accessories) unlike my Chrysler.

8K if IIRC
And are you planning on going to any stereo shows just to go ?
Yes and probably... I don't have money for an amp, but I'd like to put one of my BTLs in the back. The wires are ran and all... just gotta build a box and throw it in.

I forget how much you paid for that, but its nice for what it is I suppose. I just think you should have started from scratch. But too each its own I always say. I just see a major pain in the *** with that ride. Hope you have better luck than you did with your car. Have fun with it.
Where would he have problems? The bag setup is perfectly fine from what Jon says, and I know Vic wouldn't half *** it. Jon knows his shit as well by far, as he has one of these so he knows specifics. Wheres the problem?

He pretty much is starting from scratch anyways....

Its bagged, linked and primered......All that Kenny would have done is sent a stock blazer into a shop to have that done anyways....blazers aren't driveway build friendly really, just like all other SUV's....you cant just pull off the bed like a truck.

i got a 90 model blazer bagged that me and a buddy started but were gonna go back and start all over with a 4" sfbd. i love bagged vechicles. get it fixed up and start taking it to the shows. it looks to be a great start. i have some new blazer parts too also along with airbag parts so hit me up if you need anything or have any questions.

I have built my own cars with my fathers guidence. I am just saying doing stuff like air ride and hydros can cause problems down the road. It can be a real headache I know as I have had both. Not saying it will be, but usually people that by vechichles with all kinds of stuff done to it have more problems down the road. I used to work for Midas Muffler and a custom garage with a buddy and more than not when people would come in with stuff all customized they would say, well I didnt do that too the vechichle. I tell them, well take it back to who you bought it too and see what they can do. It happens quite a bit.

buying someone elses built project FTL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Definatly not built.

Just bagged and bare interior there.

Bagging a blazer is an expensive undertaking.

The frames in the rear are crooked, so they need a special notch. Double what normal notches cost.

No 4 link that is made for them. Everything is made custom.

Basically, they're a pain in the ***. Thats why shops want so much to do them.

He got a great deal on what all he got. I would have done it.

atleast someone thinks logically. my god.

and to the guy up there that said bags and hydros cause problems........no. just no.

big rigs have been on air for a LONG time. from the trailor, to the cab, to the **** driver seat, there is air suspension on them. wheres the horror stories of big rigs falling apart because of suspension? The suspension isn't the weak point, it's the installer. The shop who did this has quite a nice name, and has come with a few vehicles that are really nice.

It's just as reliable as a blazer on springs im sure. Plus...if someone busts, the absolute WORST that it could be is a burnt compressor or blown bag. Easy fix...just a little cash.

i know the costs of baggin a blazer because i planned out what i woulda spent doin my 4dr jimmy. And i plan on baggin my grandpas ranger when i get it. Im just the type of guy who appriciate the work more if i do it myself.

Like the work im doing on my bug, i could have the bodymen at my work knock all my body work in probably half the time its takin me, i imagine they would do it for decently cheap also. But im using it as a learn experiance.

And lastly look at this kid, he didnt even take the time to learn how to wire his high dollar stereo. What happens when his air setup needs matainence? Is he gonna be in over his head here again and need to have everything fixed by someone else? My friend had a bagged navigator, and it was funny as hell that all he pretty much knew was what switched raised and lowered where. We were proud of him though because sense we started hanging out with him, he did eventualy end up learning how the shit worked and started working/fixing shit himself. Only after a couple years of owning it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

But atleast u are hopefully a step ahead of him, his whole setup was aim garbage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
