to answer those questions, umm i forgot what the "foam" is called you can get it at the Home Depot in the flooring section, its kinda like a green roll like 30 bucks

and ive definitely noticed less rattling in my trunk after the edead (might need to rip out carpet to add more) but i think the carpeting just makes the trunk look cleaner

i dont think you need gloves, but i cut myself cuz i was in a hurry to get it done lol
