It is on the old AC160. AND like I posted in the post containing the SPL numbers, there's no way i'd get near that on a new TL. The meter was basically just for comparision between us 2 friends, not to get an actual number.

o im new o the whole competition thing...dont know the classes....what class could i compete in...u think i could win some shit if i got it dynamated....refresh i hit a 148.9 with this setup....

Well you might do ok at local comps. But I highly doubt your doing those #'s on the tl. But if you are then you would do pretty good. Check and see what mic they where using, then we could tell you a little more info on if its good or not. Ireguardless, have to say nice car and good setup. Peace!

That entirely depends upon the format you compete in. If you went into db drag youd be in street B and you'd be up against other 2 12s setups. The one difference is in street B you can have 2 BIG amps of any size on them or 4 strappable (monoblocks) amps on them.

USACi goes by power only

Meca goes by a combination of cone area and power and fuse ratings...

o iight....thanks for the info on competing....i doubt they will get jacked...the way my car is set up.... i got a python alarm system with a warrenty were if someone breaks the window and gets in thier i get 2 gs right off the bat...plus you gotta have a key and unlock my back seat to pull it down..same wit the trunk latch...they would have to cut through my back leather seats //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That's good, but the best weapon you have in keeping your car and system intact is to let as few a people know about it as possible. System off for the last mile before your house ditto for a parking lot, watch for people tailing you, dont tell a whole lot of people about it, etc.
