got magnums, need a box

I just got two magnum d2's (will only be using one though) from someone on this forum. These are some heavy mofo subs! They are beautiful though. All I need now is a box. Since I don't know jack about boxmaking, I think it would be a good idea to get it custom made by someone who knows what they are doing.

Is there anyone here that can make a sealed or ported box? I made a post earlier about whether to get it sealed or ported. It looks like SQ doesn't drop much ported, but of course, it gets much louder. If I get it ported, what is a good size and tuning freq for SQ. If sealed, what is a good size? I listen to mostly rock, metal, jazz, and classical music, and I occasionally listen to rap.

It seems like Hifonix Brutus 1000 will be a good amp based on the posts I've read here, so I think I will get that amp.

I'll upgrade the speakers when I get the money. I will prolly go with the CDT high def 6.5 comps and US Acoustics amp. Man I'm gonna need a new alternator for sure.

I can't wait to listen to this sub.

the sub will sound good in either a sealed box of course of ported. small boxes are good too for the sub. i would go ported tuned to 30-34hz. nice choice on the amp go for it as well as the components/amp.

from what ive seen he makes some BADASS and hella strong boxes. both ported an sealed so you can choose.

I live close to Druid Hills off 85, Emory area. Yeah we should get together sometime. I haven't decided for sure if I want to sell it, but most likely I will. I just don't want to have to ship it. How are your boxes? Can you make ported boxes? If I sell 1, I will need a ported box. By the way your pm box is full.

You get what you pay for. No offense to bia, but I'd have Lone Ranger build my box, based on the fact that I'm sure he's learned a thing or two from a well respected source if memory serves me correctly?

yeah and bia bia made my box ... it is pretty good .... he is cheaper right now because hes not as well know as loneranger(donn) however i know donn is very good ... but biabia is a good builder i know for a fact
