got jacked!! new 8s or 12s HELP!

ok about a week or 2 ago i got jacked for my system. i had 2 pbx 12s and a xplod 1200watt amp. so im looking to rebuild.... i have a 95 gmc sonoma single cab. as of right now i have my eye on 2 12 cvrs in a sealed box (later upgrading to 2 more 12s total of 4 in a sealed box) OR 1 Sa-8 in a ported box (later upgrading to 1 more total of 2 sa-8 in a ported box) so im kinda stuck on what to get i want to be LOUD bass you can feel... if you guys suggest any other subs please do tell im still open to suggestions these 2 subs are what caught my eye as money wise, pretty cheap subs.... hope you guys can help on my decision THANKS!!!

What do you wanna spend? what sort of power? what sort of space do you wanna use?

2 SA-8's. I have played around with 1508's in the past, but people put them in the same boat as far as 8's go. Doesn't seem like you got a ton of space to work with.

not a whole lot lol maybe 200 on subs right now and use a cheap amp for now, i will be upgradeing as i go, with my previous system i had a reguler pre made box for 2 12s and the subs were inverted and i still drove comfortable (5'4) so ill have space for either

Premades are usually too small... you will need 4+ cubic feet for most 12's and 8's will need 1.5ish so its a big difference...

go with 8's. dont go cheap on an amp. you will end up spending more in the long run if you try to piece it together with junk, then upgrade as you go. wait. if you can only afford woofers and a custom enclosure now, thats all you should be getting. dont try to sqeeze in a purchase of a garbage amp.

more then likely ill end up getting sundown amps, i have a few cheap amps here so i wouldnt be buying any junk amps

2 12's ported would be better IMO... with your budget especially

Why would you get nice amps like SA's and then go buy cheap @ss subs? lol

amps wont be till like next year and subs will be for now lol dont want to spend over 200 a sub right now
