Will this SSA DCON 12 INCH DCON-12 D4 fit into this box Sound Ordnance™ Bass Bunker Ported single 12" subwoofer enclosure (Model BB12-200V) - Features & Specs at Crutchfield.com even though the box's cutout diameter seems to be a bit shorter than the sub ?

I don't have the ability to build my own box =( Would this sub fit in this box without sound issues ?

I hate to admit this, but I graphed a couple of those SO boxes when I was putting a little system together for my 16yo daughter.

I plugged in the numbers hoping my software would show "BOOM...BOOM.... BOOM" with one of the subs I had on the shelf. But instead the graphs came back "BING...BING...BAH" High tuning fq and sharp roll off with nasty, uncontrolled, cone displacement.

I gave up on the third one. Ended up re-carpeting an old (custom built) box I already had on hand.

Not saying this will happen to you, but "good bass" is a low-percentage shot with those things.

Any chance you could refer me to one of these people ? Preferably someone credible as (no offense to everyone here) I don't tend to have a lot of trust for anonymous users on forums

Look under the enclosure and build log sections and youll find a bunch of work different guys
