Michigan's law school is without doubt one of the best in the country.

The U is a bit overrated in terms of thte education standpoint but they have a great network established which in some cases in more valuable...

I did my undergrad there in Finance and my Master's at FIU so I'm quite familiar with the area!

I'm finishing up my CFA this year and will be prepping/applying for Law School next year, hoping to get into a top 10 (possibly U of Michigan).

yea i was hoping to get into michigan as well, but the LSAT kind of screwed me. I don't really care that much anywhere though, ill make it wherever i wind up at.

After living in Chicago for 5 Yrs. It sure beats that Daly Run Arm Pit. If that City vanished today I would throw a party. They have more Legal thiefs there then any other City hands down!

I wish you luck in your new Profession, Becoming a officer of the court. The ethics in the legal system have falling pray to bribes, pay off's, compromise, and down right shady back room deals for large cash pay outs is hard to resist. To those enough is never enough:eyebrow:

I talked to few that thought they could walk on water. I told them only if it was frozen over and 3 feet thick

Florida is better academically than Michigan, so I can see why people would move down here.

Educationally this **** state sucks hind tit, einstein. Having 15 colleges is no big deal. My point is, IMO Universities are no indication of a states educational programs. These schools are paid and motivated by the tuition. States educational prowess is indicated by how they manage their k-12 schools. In this area Florida fails. Miami and Gainsville are good schools because kids coming from good HS in OTHER states make them look good.

Of course yur main statement is that we are better than MI and in this respect you are right, but both states **** so what is the point?

How are universities an indications of a states intelligence? They are filled with non-resident students.

Michigans ranking in Pre-college studies/spending is worse than florida. They both **** though.
