got in an accident....need your help

i hit a deer today while working . i deleiver pizza. and i was coming back from a delivery and i hit a deer that ran out of nowhere. anyways my cars not to bad just the hoods messed up nothing happened to the engine at all the hoods all thats messed up. my mom wants to call the insurance place tomorrow but i think i should just say forget it and buy a new hood for the 250$ instead of paying the 500$ deductable. whats your guys opinion on the situation.

if the hood is the only thing messed up..and you have a $500 deducatable..and the hood is $250..it almost seems obvious.

pay the $500. let your insurance rates skyrocket until your 25, and let the body shop installed your new hood, all of 4 bolts it takes to put it on.

no brainer.

yeah i was one the clock and when i signed up for te job they NEVER EVER said anything about accidents so i could have my lawyer bring up that it was never made clear that if i got in a naccident on the clock it was my fault

Get liberal. Sue your pizza company so they have to pay for it. After all, you were on the clock right?

FYI, he will lose that battle before it even goes to court. Not to mention paying a lawyer is like $75-$150 per hour.

This one is a no-brainer, buy a hood. Get a used one if you can verify that it's in mint condition.

I'd buy the hood and fix it myself.It's not worth it, considering the deductable, rate increases, etc.

Just buy a new hood, and some factory match paint. Spray it and be done.
